KD Academy

The KD Academy experience is a 6 week program held during the spring of each academic year.  We meet each Saturday from 9 am-2 pm teaching, mentoring, exploring & preparing for our end of program show. The girls are divided into 3 groups based upon grade level:​

• 1st & 2nd grade
• 3rd & 4th grade
• 5th grade

Each mentoring module focuses on helping girls discover who they are and their special gifts and talents.  By identifying what makes them unique and valuable to the world, we build their sense of self worth which increases their sense of self-esteem. Our modules always incorporates the message of purpose, friendship, self care and community.

Our academy experience features special guests, field trips, crafts, arts and so much more. The academy theme is customized around exciting, relevant interests of the girls and always includes elements of teaching self esteem, talent & gift discovery and confidence builders.  In addition to materials, each girl is provided a KD t-shirt and an opportunity to be crowned KD Princess of the year.
