When does KD Meet?

During the Fall/Winter months we meet monthly with the girls at locations across the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. During our annual mentoring academy, KD meets at a central location for 6 weeks on Saturday mornings.

Is there a membership fee?

Yes, there is a fall/winter quarter membership fee.  There is also a registration fee for girls who join mid-academic year for the mentoring academy in the spring.  Additional costs may be applicable for the Kamp KD experience.

What ages apply?

KD serves girls ages 7-11 years old.

Is the program targeted to a specific demographic?

All KD requires is that you meet the age restriction and are a girl! The program is open to girls from diverse backgrounds because the issues girls face as they approach puberty are not limited to a socio-economic or racial class.  All women need social groups that affirm the greatness within.

Why Join KD now- during the Fall/Winter Season?

Joining KD during the Fall/Winter Season provides a number of benefits to the girls & the families!

1. Joining now will save you $ later!  Girls enrolled & participating in KD during the Fall/Winter season are automatically enrolled in the Spring Academy.  KD Academy is an amazing experience, however the registration costs for girls enrolled during academy +++, which makes joining now all the better.
2. Bonding Time. Girls who join KD during the Fall/Winter season have a longer bonding time with the participants, teen mentors & volunteers.  That means your daughter will receive more one-on-one time with their mentors & more time to build lasting friendships.
3. You'll miss some of the cool stuff!  During the Fall/Winter season, KD focuses on community service, cultural events, field trips, etc.  If you wait your daughter will miss some life-changing opportunities to grow & explore.
